• NTK ABS Wheel Speed Sensor connectors, mounts and wire lengths are an exact match to OE for worry free installation. Grease, mounting nut and instruction sheet included where applicable.
• NTK’s Wheel Speed Sensors are manufactured to operational performance standards to meet or exceed OE fit, form and function. Manufactured with weather pack connectors to prevent dirt and moisture contamination.
• The ABS ECU monitors the Wheel Speed Sensors rotational speed for anti-lock brake function, stability control and traction control. The ABS sensors report the speed of all four wheels to the ECU to determine if the wheels are locking up.

The control module uses this input to monitor the operation of the transmission for operation and to detect excessive slippage.

The anti-lock brake system (ABS) wheel speed sensor provides a signal to the electronic brake control module (EBCM) identifying the speed at which each wheel or axle is turning. Ideally all wheels are rotating at an equal speed or with an adjusted rate, but a sudden drop in wheel speed will indicate that one or more tires are locking up due to a vehicle skid condition. The EBCM will pulse the brake fluid pressure allowed to the skidding tire until the vehicle is brought under control.
