The 50 Series Big Block muffler is made for more than just big cubic inch engine applications. Its large case size with internal tuning chamber provides mileage and power gains along with maximum sound control for a quiet interior tone, even under heavy loads. Well suited to heavy duty vehicles such as full size trucks, SUV’s, RVs, and tow vehicles. Constructed of 16 gauge aluminized steel and fully MIG welded for maximum durability.

The three chamber design utilizes Flowmaster’s patented Delta Flow technology along with an internal tuning chamber to reduce sound inside the vehicle. Provides the same performance and exterior tone characteristics as the two chamber, but with less interior resonance. Manufactured from three stainless steel layers, they resist corrosion, will not burn through or push out and maintain maximum fastener torque retention. Stress formed inner and outer layer embossments act like springs that rebound under exhaust flange clamp load, creating force to seal extreme exhaust pressures. Total gasket thickness .075 inch. Will not deteriorate from scrubbing action caused by different expansion rates in aluminum and steel materials.
