Gearbox looked very good and I'm sure it would have been fine but as it turned out, my leak was coming from a transmission cooling line that I couldn't see until removing the air cleaner box, so I returned it.

This is not a direct replacement for jeep yj that requires 4 mounting bolts. This only has 3 bolt holes. Lares says Jeep never made a box for wrangler with 4 bolt mounting. I disagree.

I bought this box to replace my worn 130k mile steering box and this lares gearbox has more play in it than my factory one did right out of the box. No way was this ever tested they just spray painted it halfway and put it in a box. Don't buy!
