My 79 J10 had a 4 bolt mounting system for the power steering gear. The 16507 box as delivered has only 3 bolts for mounting. I suggest checking the number of mount holes before ordering.

This is a "BIG GM" steering box! Not Cadillac specific! Cadillac used a variable ratio steering box. It works! It's functional But there's a reason Cadillac used variable ratio steering! Ever try to parallel park a 20' car? Better to have your original rebuilt.
