    I have a 1968 Camaro 327 and this Mr. Gasket is only 17-3/4" from joint to the add mark and I just added 5 quarts and it wont even show on the stick. Here is straight from the Checrolet book 1. For all 1963-64 cars the distance from the guard or hilt on the dipstick to the FULL mark is 19-3/16 inch and to the ADD mark is 20 inches. 2. For 1965-72 cars (327, 350 cid) the distance is 20-5/32 inch to the FULL mark and 20-59/64 inch to the ADD mark. Do your math before buying.

    I was trying to find a dipstick for a 85 v8 chevy.. No where on dicription does it say 79-75 small block.. my tube is much longer then this one.. Will have to return and try again..
