“Edelbrock Rollin’ Thunder Camshaft No: 2281 is designed for 351W Ford V8 engines and produce optimum torque from the low-end to the mid-range. Rollin’ Thunder camshafts match with Performer manifolds for vehicles operating from off-idle to 5500 rpm. They are smooth idling cams for daily drivers, trucks, vans, RVs and 4x4s. You can expect a major improvement in throttle response and torque. In the manifold section you’ll find torque graphs showing the power gains from Performer manifolds and Performer-Plus cams. This Edelbrock cam kit produced 433 HP & 489 ft-lbs. of torque when used with No: 7531 intake and No: 60119 cylinder heads on a 401 engine. The camshaft works well with high-performance’s street applications, Performer RPM cams provide power from 1500 to 6500 rpm. This hydraulic lifter camshaft is dyno-matched to Performer RPM manifolds for high-rpm horsepower while still maintaining acceptable low-end torque.
