These offer the engine rebuilder an Oe type of bearing for engines going into light duty applications. They are only recommended for applications where all engine components have been reconditioned to engine manufacturers original specifications.Bimetal engine bearings are not recommended for Heavy Duty service where heavy demands are placed on the engine or High Performance applications where Clevite TriMetal is still the ultimate performance choice.

SHAFT SEAL

KS rod bearing sets provide maximum load-bearing capacity, anti-seize and low wear and friction. KS rod bearing sets are manufactured with aluminum-tin sliding material and the innovative aluminum-zinc-bismuth alloy in which bismuth replaces lead. From the strands continuously cast on site, strip is generated in defined and coordinated rolling and annealing operations for subsequent cladding. The various steel-aluminum composites are finally produced by roll bonding. Innovative coatings also ensure optimal running-in behavior and low-wear continuous running. The spectrum of possible surface coatings at KS Gleitlager extends from galvanic films deposited electro-chemically and sputter layers applied electro-physically in a high vacuum, to synthetic antifriction coatings.
