“End Tanks: The unique BladeRunner end tanks are constructed out of 3/16″” thick aluminum plates and include two 1/8″” NPT ports for sensors or water-methanol injection. 5″” Bar and Plate Core Design: The use of the bar and plate core design allows for greater airflow and increased heat dissipation over the much smaller tube and fin design used by the factory. TIG-Welded: 100% TIG-Welded inside and out by a certified craftsmen for strength and durability. TIG-Welding provides the strongest welds while reducing stress cracks. Pressure Tested: The BladeRunner Intercooler is test pressure rated at 200psi. Mandrel-bent Tubing: Constructed of 2-1/2″” to 3″” mandrel-bent aluminum tubing and powder-coated wrinkle-black for heat and corrosion resistance. The smooth transition mandrel bends decrease turbulence which increases horsepower and torque. The high-temp wrinkle-black powder-coating insulates the tubes from engine heat and protects them from corrosion. aFe Badging: Unique aluminum laser-cut aFe Power logo plate is welded-on for an aggressive style. Perfect Fit: Includes stainless steel clamps for a leak-free seal and heavy-duty 5-Ply reinforced silicone coupling for strength.”

This BladeRunner Intercooler represents the next generation of intercoolers. Designed specifically for the 2007-2010 BMW 335i (E9X) L6-3.0L (tt), 2011 M1, and 2007-2010 135i, and some 335i & 335is models with the N54 engine, this BladeRunner intercooler utilizes a 5 in. bar and plate core design. This design outflows the factory tube and fin core design, while the 3/16 in. TIG-Welded end tanks offer superior strength and durability. In testing, this intercooler showed gains up to +14 horsepower and +18 lbs. x ft. without any type of tune, and dropped the intake air temperature up to 10 degrees.

This turbocharger intercooler hose is designed to match the fit and function of the original hose on specified vehicles, and is engineered for durability and reliable performance.

These couplings feature high temperature 5-Ply reinforced silicone material which meet or exceed SAEJ20 Standard. The lower intercooler hose also features built-in metal inserts to withstand extreme amounts of boost pressure while keeping from expanding.
