The BladeRunner intake manifold uses a unique MDV (Multiple Directional Vane) technology to guide the air through the manifold maximizing air flow. Constructed out of cast 808 aluminum alloy, this manifold uses a proprietary internal bolt design to help increase the flow and provide a solid seal void of leaks or deformities. The BladeRunner comes with 2 ports for nitrous injection, gauges and other accessories use d by hardcore enthusiasts. The manifold allows for the retention of the stock EGR valve. In recent testing the BladeRunner intake manifold outflowed the factory intake by 34% and resulting in gains of up to 11 HP and 27 lbs. x ft. of torque. The temperature of various systems must be reported to the engine control module (ECM) as well as other operating system controllers in the vehicle. Coolant temperature, cabin temperature, exhaust temperature and ambient temperature are just a few systems reported by a temperature sensor. The temperature sensor is fed 5 volts by the systems computer, within the sensor housing will be a thermistor, or dropping resistor whose resistance value will change as the temperature surrounding it changes. Changing resistance in the circuit will change the volt signal at the processor indicating the current operating value.
