2016 Lincoln MKC Belt Tensioner Assemblies

This part was designed for the 2013-present Ford Explorer, Focus Fusion, Transit Connect w/2.0/2.5L. The Litens replacement part meets all form, fit, and performance characteristics of the original equipment part. The part features a premium chrome-silicon steel spring, internal damping, a lift-lug feature for ease of installation, a 6203 ball bearing and a plastic pulley molded to exacting specifications. The Dayco automatic belt tensioner features Dayco’s original, patented flat spring design to provide less operating range variation. It reduces the risk of premature accessory bearing failure due to high tension and lessens the risk of belt noise and slippage €“ or poor performance caused by low tension. A PTFE string wound within the spring resists abrasion and dampens noise. Dayco’s tensioner is also designed with a heavy-duty cast aluminum spring case and arm, which helps resist cracking and fatigue and offers additional strength, lessening the risk of distortion. Additional premium thermoplastic rubber spring slot plugs and rubber O-ring seals help keep contaminants out and zinc coated mounting bolts resist rust.
