2016 BMW M4 GTS Belt Tensioner Assemblies

This Litens belt tensioner is supplied by the original equipment (O.E.) tensioner supplier and meets all form, fit, and performance characteristics of the original equipment part. As with the original equipment part, this replacement tensioner is manufactured in Europe and produced for serpentine belt routing applications. This part fits both BMW cars and SUV’s. The tensioner maintains the O.E. round spring technology as well as the internal damping design specified for this application. This higher damping consequently reduces arm motion and wear as well as an optimized install pin included for ease on tensioner replacement. Dayco’s tensioner is also designed with a heavy-duty cast aluminum spring case and arm, which helps resist cracking and fatigue and offers additional strength, lessening the risk of distortion. Additional premium thermoplastic rubber spring slot plugs and rubber O-ring seals help keep contaminants out and zinc coated mounting bolts resist rust.
