aFe is proud to introduce the all new Momentum sealed intake system for the 2012-2016 BMW M5 (F10) with the V8-4.4L twin-turbo engine. This all new Momentum intake system produced up to 28hp and 31lbs. x ft. torque and outflows the factory intake by 29%. This highly engineered intake system uses twin black rotomolded airboxes that keeps warm engine air out for maximum performance. The housing use a unique Patent Pending filter to housing interface that enables us to use the largest filters possible while maintaining a simple hassle-free installation. The C.A.D. designed intake tubes are engineered to unleash all available horsepower and to fit perfectly. The kit comes complete will all necessary hardware.

Large Three Layer Performance Air Filters: These 360-degree radial flow air filters feature a 4″ flange and our oil-free Pro DRY S media with three layers of synthetic media for maximum convenience. Their progressive layering provides great filtration efficiency and dust holding capacity, while not requiring the use of oils. This media is best suited for street use.Dual Heat-Resistant Housings: The included massive air filters are surrounded by open-element XLPE (cross-linked polyethylene) polymer housings that minimize warm engine air for maximum performance. Their open design allows for easy viewing of their air filter, yet creates a heat-blocking seal when the vehicle’s hood is closed.Optional Dynamic Air Scoops: In addition to the system’s built-in air inlets, optional Dynamic Air Scoops (sold separately) are available to bring more cool air from the front of the vehicle into the intake housing (PN 54-12489-C).Dyno-Tuned Intake Tubes: This system features high quality, computer-designed, dyno-tuned intake tubes to achieve maximum power gains while maintaining a perfect fit. Their XLPE material is heat soak resistant and extremely durable.Hassle-Free Installation: This is a direct fit intake system that utilizes factory mounting points and requires no cutting or modifications.
