Essential 2013 Audi A4 Alternator Pulley Parts

Dayco – Overrunning Alternator Pulley (Part No.892008)

Overrunning Alternator Pulley

from

$145.99
Dayco OAPs (Overrunning Alternator Pulleys) allow the alternator to ‘freewheel’ when the belt speed drops and they are engineered with one-way clutches that allows the rotational inertia of the alternator to overrun during any belt deceleration event. Dayco OAPs, which are designed for long service life, decrease drive belt vibration and reduce belt slippage during rapid acceleration or deceleration, resulting in reduced stress on the drive belt and other accessories as well as increased alternator and drive belt life. Dayco OAPs are application-specific replacement parts. If a vehicle requires an OAP, the same type of pulley must be installed. Proper tools must be used to remove and install OAPs.

Product Features:
  • Designed for long service life
  • Decreases drive belt vibration
  • Reduces belt slippage during rapid acceleration or deceleration
  • Reduces stress on the drive belt and other accessories
