2011 BMW 335i xDrive Belt Tensioner Assemblies

This Litens belt tensioner is supplied by the original equipment (O.E.) tensioner supplier and meets all form, fit, and performance characteristics of the original equipment part . As with the original equipment part, this replacement tensioner is manufactured in Europe and meets all performance and life specifications of the O.E. part. This part was designed for the 2011-2015 BMW 135I, 135IS, 335I, and X1. The part features a premium chrome-silicon steel spring, internal damping, 2 pulleys with a 6203 ball bearing molded to exacting specifications, and pull pin feature for ease of installation. • Internal “round spring” technology to provide constant belt tension and alignment throughout its service life. The internal damping design provides quiet, smooth, system performance.
• 2 plastic pulleys specifically molded with tight radial run out for reduced noise and longer life. Pulley specs: 70mm (OD) x 17mm (ID) x 30mm (Width)
• Bolt Included.
• Accessory drive belts and tensioners are manufactured with similar design life targets. Since belt removal is required to change the tensioner, replacing both will extend the system service life and lower labor costs versus individual replacement.
• Belt removal is required to change the tensioner. Therefore, doing both together will extend accessory drive life and lower overall labor versus performing these services separately.
