AT Speed Sensor

The transmission speed sensor is an input to the transmission or powertrain control module reporting the speed of the input shaft, intermediate shaft, or output shaft of the transmission. The control module uses this input to monitor the operation of the transmission for operation and to detect excessive slippage.
