• The Water In Fuel Sensor reports to the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) when water has been detected in the fuel system.
• NTK’s Water in Fuel Sensors are manufactured to operational performance standards to meet or exceed OE fit, form and function to monitor the presence of water in the vehicle’s fuel.

On Flex Fuel Vehicles (FFV) and diesel vehicle applications the engine control module (ECM) monitors the fuel for possible water contamination. The sensor generates a small alternating voltage to detect the presence of water as well as the percentage of H2O content.
