The Battery Current Sensor reports the movement of electricity to the body control module to control the vehicles charging system and to report any possible battery drain during a key-off condition.

The Accelerator Pedal Position (APP) sensor provides a signal identifying the location of the accelerator pedal to the engine control module. As the vehicle operator requests various degrees of torque from the engine the signal from the sensor provides the engine computer the necessary information to implement the request.
