The first remanufactured pump I initially bought and received from Advance Auto Shop did not work properly in my 2006 Acura TSX. The problem was that it was a weak/defective and the steering wheel would be extremely stiff/stop working at idle, parking, and turning when braking. The replacement pump I exchanged without any problems at the store seems to be working fine so far. I am not happy with having to spend extra money and time at the mechanic to replace the initial defective pump. Bottom line: Potential risk that the pump may be defective. If not defective, pump works fine and normal.
