MAP-Barometric Pressures for Your 2004 Honda Pilot

NTK – Manifold Absolute Pressure Sensor (Part No.MA0094)

Manifold Absolute Pressure Sensor

from

$84.99
Building upon a foundation of premium full-line products established under NGK ignition and NTK oxygen sensor products, NTK’s expansion to technical sensors is part of our ongoing commitment to streamline product types and increase coverage under one premium brand: NTK, The Sensor Specialist. With over 80 years of automotive expertise, NGK’s family of automotive products are driven by extreme dedication to innovation, performance and quality. NTK is the only OE supplier with a full-line of technical sensors in the aftermarket for import and domestic vehicles. Drawing from OE experience, NTK sensors undergo extreme testing conditions that include thermal shock, vibration and OBD verification. NTK sensors are manufactured to ensure a quality that meets or exceeds OE specifications. As new vehicles incorporate connected and automated technologies, trust The Sensor Specialist for full-line market support and OE application technology.

Product Features:
  • NTK’s Manifold Absolute Pressure Sensors are manufactured to operational performance standards to meet or exceed OE fit, form and function to ensure proper manifold pressure, fuel metering and ignition timing.
  • The Manifold Absolute Pressure Sensor (MAP) provides manifold pressure information to the Engine Control Unit (ECU). The data is used to determine the air mass flow rate and required fuel for optimum combustion and ignition timing.

FAE – FAE MAP Sensor (Part No.C7044256037FAE)

FAE MAP Sensor

from

$93.33
The FAE MAP sensor, absolute pressure of admission, detects the air pressure at the inlet of the vehicle and turns it into an electrical signal which is sent to the engine’s electronic control unit (ECU) in order to regulate the stoichiometric mixture. Some models do have a NTC type temperature sensor that allows the MAP to detect, not only the pressure, but also the air temperature at the inlet. This information is necessary for the ECU to calculate the mass of intake air in order to be able to adjust the air-fuel mixture. The sensor element of the MAP is a piezoresistive type configured as a Wheatstone bridge, – its electrical resistance varies according to the mechanical de- formation of a membrane.

Product Features:
  • The sensor element is integrated in a MEMS-type DIE which amplifies, performs a thermal compensation and conditions the signal
  • The incorporated digital electronics allow us to program the output signal
  • The DIE is mounted on a ceramic circuit and its electrical connections are made by bonding
  • Protected with a receptacle and a silicone gel
  • The electronic circuit is achieved through hybrid technology and is handled in a clean room due to its sensitive nature.
