Worked and fixed the check engine light. Although the first place had two, but one was obviously returned and NOT new, didn't take it and went to another place that had one as well to replace both.

I am giving this comment to stars due to the fact that the vehicle look up and the in-store computer both showed this as the only option for my Toyota. After installing it the little tabs on the connector were in different spots so it would not plug-in and they would not except it for a return. Double check the plug before connecting, don't trust the system. I understand I should have looked at it before installing but trusted the vehicle look up. I am not an experienced mechanic and that's why I bought it at the store and tried to fix it myself but definitely learned a lesson.

Direct replacement. They should include new nuts since it's so expansive. If they did, it would be a 5 star.

Wood have given it five stars but I haven't been able to calculate the fuel mileage yet. It's my wife's car.

I purchased this OEM brand O2 sensor for my 2007 Suburban and it is the downstream sensor. After opening the box, I found that that the sensor doesn't come with a plug but just bare wires with four wire crimp splices and heat shrink sleeve. Had I known this, I wouldn't have purchased this sensor. Later I found out that it is a universal type sensor so that is why it doesn't come with a plug to plug into the vehicle's wire harness. Then I noticed on Advance Auto Parts website, the "Universal" word in the sensor type. In this case, Universal, means that it won't have a plug and you'll have to splice wires together at installation, so buyer beware. I also purchased the Denso upstream sensor from Advance Auto Parts and it is a Direct Fit type which means that it has the plug and requires no wire splicing. I don't understand why Advance Auto Parts doesn't sell the downsteam sensor with the plug on the wires.

For Scion/Toyota splice the sensor's two black wires to the two white Scion plug wires. It doesn't matter which of the two are connected since polarity is not an issue for the heat element. With two wires left to splice we have a 50% chance for success. lol The sensor ground wire is white and Scion/toyota use color gray for grounds. connect white to gray leaving the sensor sending wire blue to be connected to the Scion/Toyota black wire from the plug. The result should be no check engine light and a better running fuel mixture. Thanks and good luck
