Though it requires a little extra work compared to a custom wiring harness, a tail light converter offers a reliable, long-term connector solution. This converter wiring kit is intended to be used with various CURT powered taillight converters. Powered converters require a direct connection to the vehicle’s battery, and the powered converter wiring kit #55151 provides all of the components needed to establish a secure connection. The kit includes 20 feet of 12 gauge wire, a 10-amp fuse, an in-line fuse holder, a 3/8″ ring terminal, a butt connector, a 14-1/2″ cable tie and eight 6″ cable ties.
