- Breaks or cracks in the insulation jacket or outer coating of the wires causing corrosion of the core.
- Insulation jacket is stiff or contaminated with dirt and oil.
- Broken or spliced wires or wire core.
- Voltage drop or loss. Terminal Installation:
- Align the terminal and pull the wire from the back of the connector in order to seat the terminal.
- If necessary, cut the new wire to proper length and splice with existing circuit.
- If the connector is outside of the passenger compartment, apply dielectric grease to the connector.
