The Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) Pressure Feedback Hose is a silicone based hose designed to withstand exhaust gas extreme temperatures. The hose is used by the EGR feedback sensor as a source for EGR exhaust gas.

The EGR system is an emission control device designed to recirculate exhaust gas into the engines air intake system and back to the combustion chamber to control nitrogen oxides or NOx. The chemical NOx is created when oxygen and nitrogen are heated above 2,800-degree F. Exhaust gas, or gas that is displaced from the combustion chamber, contains little to no oxygen molecules.
