They are designed to provide the user with a means of installing the factory catalytic converters from a 1999-2006 5.3 or 6.0-liter Chevy Silverado truck (4.00-inch maximum diameter), into this vehicle application, within the stipulations/requirements published by CARB/EPA for emissions-legal engine changes. “Hooker Blackheart C1500/K1500 (GMT400) or “”OBS”” Truck exhaust tips are constructed of 409 Grade Stainless Steel to match the exhaust systems they were designed for (BH14345 – 2WD or BH14348 – 4WD). Choose from this stealth-exit tip kit or the rear-exit tips (BH14354) to complete the full Blackheart exhaust system that begins with our cast stainless or cast iron exhaust manifolds (8502HKR, 8503HKR, BHS516). Finish it off with our 409SS adapter kits, BH14350 or BH14351, that make it easy to incorporate a catalytic converter and already have bungs for O2 sensors and Hooker Blackheart exhaust systems.
