Easy to install and remove because of the nut on top of filter. I hate regular oil filters where you need a squeeze wrench to remove.

Has a decent or average price, fitment is correct, part of a nice package deal with 5qt of oil. To some extent, a filter is a filter. I don't know what type of paper or membranes they use, what material or porosity, and none of the manufacturers reveal their secrets.

Have done double drain and fills on 2013 Hyundai Elantra and 2015 Santa Fe at 80k miles. Both shift smooth and flawless. Drain and filled Elantra again at 120k. Fluid looked clean with no burnt odor Gonna use it on my 2011 Camry with 72 k miles. I think it holds up better than OEM fluid

I own a '03 Hyundai Elantra, '07 Ford Five Hundred, and a '07 Mazda CX7. All 3 vehicles claim the transmission is "Lubed for life", I choose not to adhere to that kind of neglect. I do a drain and fill of the transmission case on each vehicle when I change the engine oil. I'm able to drain 3-3.5 quarts of transmission fluid out of each of them, so it ends up being about 3 quarts of fresh fluid mixed in with 3 or so quarts of old fluid left in the torque converter. After doing that a few times the fluid is now always nice and clean. The Hyundai and Mazda both have slightly over 200,000 miles, the Ford has 240,000. They all shift nice and smooth. I also run Maxlife ATF in a 94 F150 with a 4r70w, and a 96 F350 with a E4OD. It works just fine in both of them as well. Of course they're both conventional and serviceable automatics. I get about 30,000 miles out of the fluid and filter in either of them, granted they're hauling or pulling something 95% of the time.

About 2 years ago a single mom friend of mine had a 2005 Honda Odyssey transmission issue. I test drove the car about 2 miles and when we got back to her house the tranny was slipping so badly we literally coasted into her driveway. I called a friend of mine who has a shop and he told me when a Honda transmission gets that bad it needs to be replaced as they are so hard to rebuild. I had had some luck prior using a combination of Valvoline MaxLife and Lucas Transmission fix. So I told her before sinking $5k into a transmission why not give it a try. I changed the transmission using 1 gallon of the MaxLife and a 12 oz bottle of Lucas Transmission fix. Drove her van 10-15 miles and it shifted like new. 60 days later we did the same process withe MAXLIFE and the Lucas but this time changed her transmission filter as well. I saw her today and she said she has had no further transmission issues. Now that is what I call "A FIX." So for about $100 in fluid, filter, and the Lucas, she is still on the road with her '05 Odyssey. You can see the videos I did on Rumble at expdchief just scroll down as it was awhile ago (Dec. 2020).

This is a universal part, designed to fit many applications. I returned the first one because it looked like the hose fittings were not oriented in the correct position without even taking it out of the box. When the second one came and appeared to be the same as the first, I took it out of the box and saw that the low side fitting was designed to rotate and match up with the hoses. I'm a bit concerned about potential leaks but I suppose it's designed that way and will work just fine.
