Modern vehicles may have 100 or more electrical harness connectors in every operating system of the vehicle. Terminal tension may weaken with time or corrosion may occur within the connector housing making replacement necessary. When replacing any harness-connector assembly approved wire termination methods must be followed to ensure a successful and long-term solution to the original problem is made.
