Curved Radiator Hoses: EPDM Rubber, Standard Duty, 6.25" Long, 1.56" Diameter

from

$16.29
The Dayco curved radiator hose features knitted reinforcement, a protective sleeve and a synthetic EPDM rubber construction for high-strength performance, protection against abrasion and resistance to oil, mud, salt, road debris, ozone and coolants. It can also withstand temperature variations of -40 Deg. F (-40 Deg. C) to +257 Deg. F (+125 Deg. C). The inner base tube is reinforced with knitted rayon for maximum strength and burst resistance for the life of the hose.

Product Features:
  • Meets SAE J20R4, Class D-1 requirements
  • Meets Type EC electro-chemical requirements as specified in SAE J1684, which prevents inner tube deterioration caused by the build-up of static electric charges
  • Provides excellent protection against external elements

MacKay – Molded Cooling Hose (Part No.G202138823MKY)

Molded Cooling Hose

from

$10.79
Mackay utilizes leading edge rubber technology and compounds, supported by in-house processes from rubber mixing to final product. This ensures hoses are made to the strict specifications required for the advanced motor vehicles of the 21st century. In vehicles of today, a hose has to be designed to withstand the stresses of modern, more compact but powerful engines that run hotter and at a higher pressure. Other factors include smaller engine compartments with poor heat dissipation, aggressive coolant additives, and stray (electrochemical) current that may be conducting through the cooling system. In short, the smaller but more powerful engines of today work a lot harder than the larger engines that were standard before. More heat is generated, higher burst pressures are required in cooling system components, and hoses have to be made tougher to withstand these demands. Mackay’s research and development chemists have developed new rubber formulations and manufacturing processes that ensure Mackay hoses meet the greater wear and heat demands created by modern engines. Rubber compounds used in automotive hoses today are predominantly synthetic rubber formulation. All Mackay coolant hoses are made from EPDM compounds that are highly resistant to ozone attack. Hoses made from some other rubber compounds may be subject to ozone deterioration.

Product Features:
  • Excellent resistance to high temperatures
  • Resists chemical attack (oils, fuels etc.)
  • Excellent Ozone resistance
  • Good resistance to abrasion
  • High resistance to vibration

APA/URO – APA/URO Radiator Hose (Part No.G200024973APA)

APA/URO Radiator Hose

from

$19.29
All APA/URO rubber coolant hoses are pre-shaped and double reinforced for extra strength and durability. Each hose is manufactured from ECD (Electro Chemical Degradation) resistant materials, which prevents electrolysis from breaking down the rubber from the inside out. All APA/URO cooling components are made to meet or exceed OE standards.

Product Features:
  • All cooling-water hose inner linings are resistant to electrochemical cracking
  • high strength and resistance to oil, mud, salt, road debris, and ozone
