For this reason, the fastener experts at ARP have developed the Pro Series ring gear bolts. They are forged from premium grade 8740 chrome moly steel and are heat treated to a nominal rating of 200,000 PSI tensile strength. Specially hardened, precision ground washers are included where required. Our wheel seals are engineered using only the highest-quality materials to meet vehicle manufacturer specificatons. We work with suppliers to design seals that meet FAG’s quality standards. Seals are designed to protect wheel end components from contamination – such as dirt, dust, and moisture – and prevent the loss of grease over the life of the bearing. The specifications for wheel seals are very demanding, and the type required depends on the specific application, position and vehicle class.

Our engineers designed the line of Hi-Tek differential covers to not only look good but address a number of weaknesses of the factory-stamped steel covers. First, they started by constructing the covers of thick A356.0-T6 aluminum, which dissipates heat much faster than the factory steel unit keeping the fluid temperature lower under high-stress loads vs. a steel cover. Then for added durability, we added a reinforced center bar for extra strength along with load bolts to help prevent bearing cap deflection under severe loads. The internal shape of the cover retains the smooth round back internally to help keep the fluid flow going over the ring gear to properly lubricate the bearings, the ring and pinion gears. Additional features include a magnetic drain plug for catching ferrous metal particles, MIL-Spec (MIL-A-8625) black anodized finish, machined B&M logo, and all necessary hardware and easy-to-follow detailed instructions for a quick and simple installation you can do at home.
