Starting out as a seven-pound block of 6061-T6 aluminum, the Pro Bandit shifter features CNC machined construction, an ergonomically shaped stainless knob with a polished & matte finish, trigger-activated reverse gate release function (does not have a reverse lockout to meet NHRA/IHRA safety rules.) The Street Bandit is compatible with forward or reverse pattern valve bodies and is fully capable of controlling 2, 3 and 4-speed automatic transmissions by simply replacing the hardened steel gate plate, and applicable brackets and levers. Other features include a 4-foot Super Duty shift cable, rear cable exit, chrome shifter bracket, back up light switch, neutral safety switch, cable brackets, and levers for most popular brands of 3-speed auto transmissions. Comes with detailed instructions for an easy installation. Optional gate plates, cable brackets, lever kits, and side grip plates both with and without 12V momentary buttons are available separately. The Holeshot converters are an excellent choice for vehicles with engine modifications, particularly big cams that tend to reduce low end power and torque. The higher stall speed of this converter will launch the car in a higher rpm range where more torque is readily available, resulting in quicker acceleration. Holeshot converters feature furnace brazed impeller fins and turbine, new precision alloy impeller hub and new heavy duty needle bearings.
