B & M Flexplate For Lsx Type Motors, 20340

from

$188.99
As performance levels increase, an O.E. style flex plate just won’t cut it and a stronger option is a necessity to prevent transmission and/or converter failure. B&M has you covered with our high-performance flex plate designed for GM 1997-up 4.8L, 5.3L, 5.7L & 6.0L LS engines with 6-bolt crankshaft flange, including 2010-15 Camaro with the L99 engine. Features include high tensile strength steel construction to resist elongation and cracking, 10.75 and 11.06-inch converter mounting locations, 168 tooth ring gear with double-sided welds for added strength and comes with SFI 29.1 safety certification ensuring the ultimate in safety and performance. The assembly is finished with Zinc plating and Chromate Conversion Coating for added corrosion resistance and durability. Hays – Hays Flywheels, 13-065 (Part No.13-065)

Hays Flywheels, 13-065

from

$193.99
Hays heavy-duty flexplates for high performance and competition engines are constructed of a thicker than stock steel plate, enabling them to withstand the stress of high-stall torque converters and high-RPM engines. While factory stock plates tend to crack around the crankshaft hub when punished under high torque and RPM conditions, the thicker Hays flexplate handles the force. These H.D. flexplates are supplied with a ring gear that is securely welded in place and feature dual bolt patterns for use with either a Powerglide or Turbo-Hydromatic torque converter. All Hays heavy-duty flexplates are zinc-dichromate plated to resist corrosion and are SFI certified under specification 29.1.

ATP – ATP Automatic Transmission Flex Plate, Z-269 (Part No.Z-269)

ATP Automatic Transmission Flex Plate, Z-269

from

$83.99
Vehicles with automatic transmissions have a flex plate. Flex plates connect the engine and transmission. Most flex plates are made of a thick piece of sheet metal with bolt holes for the torque converter and teeth for the starter. The job of a flex plate is to allow for expansion of the torque converter as engine RPM increases. The constant expansion and contraction of a flex plate over time can result cracks and/or shearing of the flex plate. A damaged flex plate can create serious (expensive) damage. Broken flex plates can not be repaired, they must be replaced. ATP flex plates are made of high quality steel and contain the correct bolt hole spacing and ring gear teeth just like the original part to ensure long life and durability
