ACCEL’s SuperStock 4000 series spark plug wire sets are designed to upgrade an OE ignition system for high-spark delivery levels for street driven applications. The 450 degree F rated silicone jacket is extruded over a tightly woven, rugged fiberglass braid. The braid is applied over high dielectric strength EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer) inner insulation for ignition wire performance that exceeds SAE specifications.

Our Universal spark plug wire sets come with the spark plug terminal and boot installed with the other end open. Distributor cap boots and terminals are included so you can cut the wire to the desired length, then install the terminal with the supplied Mini-Stripper-Crimper. It’s a little more work, but in the end it will be worth it.

“Engineered from the inside out, the 8.5 offers everything you have ever wanted in a wire; incredibly low resistance without electronic interference. In a single 12 inch length of Super Conductor Wire there is only 40 – 50 ohms of resistance. That is the lowest resistance of any helically wound wire. A proprietary blend of silicone and synthetic material produce a sleeve that is highly resistant to high heat as well as abrasion and tears. ACCEL now offers the cure for burnt spark plug boots with Extreme 9000 Ceramic wire kits. The 8mm Ferro-Spiral core wire now has ceramic boots on the spark plug end of the wires. Ceramic boots withstand up to 2,000 degrees. Great for running headers with close tolerances, an engine bay with little room, or an RV with boots that melt because of heat.
