Advance Partners with the American Heart Association in 2020: Life Is Why We Give

Advance Auto Parts is a proud sponsor of the American Heart Association (AHA) in 2020! Fundraising in our stores will take place from Sept. 1 to Oct. 15.

American Heart Association Life Is Why We Give Campaign

In 2019, Advance donated over 1 million dollars to the American Heart Association, more than any other participating company. In 2020, we hope to continue this trend with support from our customers, team members and commercial accounts, including independent and company-owned Carquest locations.

How do I donate in an Advance Auto Parts store?

Stop by an Advance or Carquest store in the U.S. or Puerto Rico from Sept. 1 to Oct. 15 and pledge any amount that you can. Every dollar counts in the fight against heart disease and stroke, and even a one dollar donation will help us to meet our goal.

Where will my dollars go?

Heart disease is the leading cause of death among men and women in the United States with someone dying from cardiovascular disease every 43 seconds. In addition, studies show people with high blood pressure, diabetes or obesity and those who have heart disease or have survived a stroke may be more vulnerable to serious complications from COVID-19. The AHA will use funds for important research on heart disease and stroke. They also support our community with lifesaving CPR training and programs designed to help us all live healthier, longer lives.

American Heart Association Heart Walks

Advance Auto Parts team members are encouraged to take part in the 2020 virtual heart walks in Roanoke and Raleigh, both of which will take place on October 10th. Since the walks are virtual, you can participate from wherever you live by registering at TriangleHeartWalk.org or RoanokeHeartWalk.org. Or, find a heart walk near you here.

Advance employees in Raleigh had a ton of fun in 2019!

Charitable Giving at Advance Auto Parts

Charitable giving is so important to the culture at Advance Auto Parts. Across our company, we understand the importance of taking care of one another and creating a world where everyone can thrive. In addition to our support of AHA, we are also a national supporter of Building Homes for Heroes, an organization committed to rebuilding lives and supporting the brave men and women who were injured while serving their country.
