A solid rebuild but the pins are bad.

    Comments about Wearever Unloaded Caliper w/Bracket -Import:

    This is a farily well rebuilt caliper and would deserve 5 stars if it weren't for two problems:

    1. The installed caliper pins are useless plated steel parts. On a hardness meter they tested about 20% softer than OEM stainless pins. The plating doesn't appear to be durable at all and scrapes/scuffs very easily. Such plated steel is completely inappropriate for the corrosive high-temperature environment of the brake caliper. DO NOT use the provided pins. Remove and clean the OEM Volvo stainless steel caliper pins from your old caliper, and transfer them to the rebuilt caliper. If your original pins are worn out, get new ones, but make sure they are OEM stainless steel (no plating of any kind, no color/tint).

    2. The bleeder screw is undersize compared to the original part. The original rubber bleeder cap is too large to be of any use. If your original bleeder is worn, as it may well be, you'd be best advised to get an OEM bleeder from the dealer and use it instead. That way when you bleed your brakes all the bleeders will take same wrench, same cap, and same bleed tube diameter.
