Comments about Wearever Unloaded Caliper - Import:
I'm going to leave the same review for both right and left. I got both calipers at the same time from advance. However each had slight differences. Granted the casings were identical. One of the bleeder valves was in 8mm. One of the bleeder valve was a 9 mm. Typically, Mercedes uses 9 mm. This is irritating to me. Now, I have to remember that I have to use an 8 mm when bleeding one of the sides. Also, the 8mm bleeder doesn't quite fit right. I'm going to have to keep an eye on it when I get this car back on the road to make sure it's not leaking. Lastly, one of the calipers came with the wrong hardware clips. I had to reuse my old ones as the new ones provided were far too big. Obviously, they came from a different caliper altogether. Rebuilding calipers isn't rocket science. Other than the pain in the butt factor, I have would have done this myself. I don't understand why they couldn't have gotten these minor things correct. Oh, one more thingthe piston shield on one of the calipers was different than the other. Why??
