  • Q:

like many brake parts, is it recommended to replace calipers in pairs on the same axle or is it acceptable to only replace a caliper individually if a piston is hanging?

Hi Bill, great question! It is always recommended to replace brake caliper for both sides. As you are in need to replace the caliper for one side, the other side is on the verge of the failure and needs attention too.
