    where do the triangular pieces go(top or bottom) of the larger pieces?

    where do the "rubber bands go ? you said across the pads, please explain where or how... do you have a picture showing this ?

      The rubber bands should wrap around the caliper and caliper mount where the two come together and are supposed to protect the surfaces from contamination. As you can imagine, they do not last long due to the heat in that area, but don't expect them to be there when you take it apart next time.

      The rubber band goes across the pads to keep it form vibrating.
