These shoes were about $10 cheaper than AZ or OR shoes. BIG MISTAKE to go with the price. The shoes do not have the pins installed in the shoes which leads to the problem of pounding them in with a hammer and deep socket . It took many tries and finally a round file to get the pins into the shoes. The rest was fairly easy and shoes fit OK except for the passenger side. When installed the forward shoe would tilt toward the mounting plate. No problems, the shoe will seat on the drum I thought. WRONG. Within a few days I started hearing a clicking noise from that drum. After taking the drum off a few times and not seeing a problem I took the car to a mechanic. It cost my $52 to find out the shoe was rubbing on the drum and the drum and shoe had to be ground down to clear. Thanks Advance!

The pin is inpossable to install withought a press. I used a deep well socket and a hammer and it just ate up the shoe. Buy another brand with the pins already installed. Waste of my time!

Comments about Wearever Brake Shoes - Rear:

These went on a 2003 Saturn VUE AWD. Fit was good except one shoe needed one hole filed out so as to accept the pin that you hammer into the shoe that holds some of the hardware in place. New pin(s) come with shoes which is nice. There is a left and right shoe and an inner and outer shoe surface as on OEM shoes. I wish they had sand blasted the old rust off of these recycled and relined metal shoe(s). Otherwise a good fit and function. Nice firm pedal and noticeable shorter braking distance.

Comments about Wearever Brake Shoes - Rear:

Brake shoes work as needed. The only problem was there is a pin that you have to install into a pre-drilled hole in the shoe that holds the adjuster and spring. With only a round file to enlarge the hole and using a deep-well socket to hammer the pin into the hole (this took longer than the entire job) This would not have been a problem if you are working in a shop- not outside in the driveway.
