Comments about Wagner Disc Brake Pad:

Brakes are much better than OEM AC Delco semi-metallic. The OEM brakes would fade quickly, give off a lot of dust and wore out in 10,000 miles of city driving. When installing use Permatex Extreme ceramic disk brake parts lube (purple) to make all parts slide well, do not use petroleum based grease. Use CRC disk brake quiet to glue pads to calipers. These pads require this as they do not come with anti squeak shims that rust out. You will enjoy them.

Comments about Wagner Disc Brake Pad:

Ordered pads online and picked up in store. Pads didn't fit. They were way to big. Description doesn't say for dual piston calipers only. I have a 2004 Silverado 1500 4x4 with single piston calipers and 2 wheel steering. This part number is the only option listed for ThermoQuiet pads for my application. I found store brand pads that said they were for single piston calipers. I put that part number into the part interchange on the ThermoQuiet website and came up with the part number QC792A. Went back to advance & asked to see this part number & they were the correct pads but are not listed as fitting my application. I started to install them but found the hardware included with the pads doesn't fit on the caliper bracket properly. Made a third trip back to advance to get the correct hardware. Neither hardware kit listed for my application fit. Luckily, the person helping me kept looking. She looked a year newer and a year older and pulled a total of 5 hardware kits before we found one that fit. If they would simply put "for dual piston calipers only" in the part description, this whole ordeal would have been avoided. I'm glad the person that helped me didn't give up & kept looking for me. However, the hardware kit ended up costing another $25. If you run into this issue, you may want to try brake pads QC792A & hardware kit H5764Q. I have used ThermoQuiet pads on other vehicles & had good luck with them. They were quiet & left very little dust on the wheels. That is why I insisted on having them.
