Brakes are much better than OEM AC Delco semi-metallic. The OEM brakes would fade quickly, give off a lot of dust and wore out in 10,000 miles of city driving. When installing use Permatex Extreme ceramic disk brake parts lube (purple) to make all parts slide well, do not use petroleum based grease. Use CRC disk brake quiet to glue pads to calipers. These pads require this as they do not come with anti squeak shims that rust out. You will enjoy them.

Beware! When you buy these online you get a 25% discount. They said 100% guaranteed fit for my vehicle but there were 2 choices. They do not check or ask any questions when you pick these up at the store because the store get no "credit" for selling them. So if you need to return them because they do NOT FIT, they will give you a refund but will charge you regular price at the store to get the right ones. They do not exchange them for the same price. What good is that guarantee? NONE.

Would these brakes be recommended for towing a 10,000 lb 5th wheel part-time? If not, what brakes would be recommended?

Yes Wagner brakes are good but I would recommend when hauling anything large like that to use a brake controller as well. That way the axles on your trailer help stop your truck and relieve some of that stopping pressure from your vehicle

I have an 06 Chevy Silverado 2500HD and need new rear brake pads. I would like the Wagner ThermoQuiet pads. The website has the QC784 and QC785 as both being front pads. When I look up these pads on Wagners website it says the QC785 are rears. Are they?

The information about the origin of a product is highly confidential and this information has not been provided to us by the manufacturer, as they may have different warehouses in several countries.

I bought these pads for my Pontiac and the box says "Made in the USA". They are great and I will buy them again for other cars , as I like the quality of USA made, especially versus Chinese steel, which is always suspect.
