Did a brake job on all four wheels on a 2008 Chrysler T&C LTD. Pads on all 4 wheels and front rotors as well. Whole job took me 3 hours on a Sunday afternoon. After the first one, it gets easier and easier. 1 tool you will find useful is a 5 inch "C" clamp. Use this to push back in the brake assembly. You CANNOT do this brake job without some type of tool to push the brake piston back in after you put the new pads on. Watch the videos on this website.. VERY helpful.. I have never done a brake job before yesterday.
You are also going to need basic socket set at various sizes based on your vehicle. If you are mechanically inclined.. GO FOR IT!

1 negative.. the rear pads did not come with new clips like the front pads did??? Not sure why that was..

Good product but...

Not sure I'd recommend paying extra for the these pads vs Wearever pads. Installed new front Wagner rotors and pads - brakes are squealing after 1 month on our Grand Caravan.

Comments about Wagner Disc Brake Pad:

Figured I give these pads a shot since the Dodge Grand Caravan chews through brakes like a new puppy does with shoes and everything else.

First impressions are these are awesome. Easy to install and significantly decreases stopping distance (not to the point of going through the windshield or engaging the anti-lock system).

I am extremely happy with these and would recommend them to a friend, I plan on switching all of my vehicles brakes over to Wagner brand now after experiencing first hand what they can do.

The only con would be I know they wont last forever.

Not too expensive and they work really well. Time will tell though. I've had to replace the brakes on my Town and Country three times in 60,000.

Comments about Wagner Disc Brake Pad:

Bought a used van and dealership said they put on new brakes, but they didn't turn or replace rotors. Had alot of vibration (especially coming off of interstate), so went ahead and put on new rotors and pads. I know two brake guys that only use Wagner, so I figured I might as well too. Install was easy if you've ever done brakes before.

They are quiet and have good output. I hope they last as long as the OE pads (58k mi). They are on a daily-driver '08 Town and Country Touring that is used for typical around town soccer-momming.

                      • Q:

I purchased a set of Wagner Thermo Quiet Ceramic Brake Pads QC1327 for a 2009 Dodge Journey SXT with a 3.5l v6. I was surprised that the pads did not come with shims. The OEM Shims would also require modification to work with the QC1327. Should I modify the OEM shims and use them or should I use the QC1327 pads without shims?

Thermo Quiet pads should not require the use of shims.
