This PS fluid is compatible with many makes of domestic and foreign cars. Will work in many applications that call for a specialty fluid that is hard to find.
        Clear fluid, no dye.
        Semi-synthetic.

My 1992 Volvo 240 specifies Type F power steering fluid. Is MaxLife an acceptable alternative?
Asked on 4/30/2017 by Studebakerlvr from Indiana

          1 answer

          • CUSTOMER CARE

            A:

No, Studebakerlvr! This Valvoline MaxLife Power Steering Fluid with Stop Leak (32 oz.) Part No. VV335 is not compatible for your 1992 Volvo 240. The exact power steering fluid (Type F) for your vehicle is unavailable online. However, I would suggest that you visit the nearest Advance Auto Parts store to check the availability of this part.

Asked on 2/27/2017 by teresa from Columbus OH

Glad to assist, Teresa! Although this Valvoline MaxLife Power Steering Fluid with Stop Leak - Part No. VV335 is formulated with seal conditioners to help combat minor leaks in your power steering system, unfortunately it would most likely not benefit your issue since it is located on the high pressure line.

does this meet mil h5606 spec.
          Asked on 4/7/2016 by na

          1 answer

          • CUSTOMER CARE

            A:

Good question! H5606 is an aircraft grade hydraulic oil that works in very low temperatures. Valvoline does not produce any aircraft products so no Maxlife PS does not meet that specification. However, I'd recommend checking with your local store for availability.
