Valmar Marine Fuel Line Assembly, Universal - Low Permeation Marine 3/8" Fiber-Reinforced Fuel Line With Bare Ends

Absolute garbage. I installed this line because my old bulb was cracked. Everything worked great for about 3 weeks, and then my boat wouldn't run. I couldn't figure it out, so I had to call a marina. Our 28' pontoon boat was already in the water for the season, so it turned into a $300 house-call. The tech looked at everything obvious, then zeroed in on the brand new fuel line. He ultimately cut off the end that was installed at the engine, and found a gray colored, thin plastic material that was blocking the line. At first we thought that it was some kind of foreign object, but it is actually some kind of liner within the line itself. He cut the line further up, and there was more of it. You could see how it was separating from the outer walls of the line and bunching up inside, thereby stopping the flow of fuel. Nobody deserves this kind of torture. I would like to hear from the manufacturer.
