Comments about ToughOne AC Compressor with Clutch:

Compressor came with a statement to the exact amount of oil the compressor came with (6.4oz). This made it much easier to know the exact amount of PAG oil needed to be added to this compressor for my vehicle. I wish every manufacturer did this .

            A:

Hi Jo! You need to check for the correct air gap or damaged clutch components especially leaf spring or rubber dampers, check for refrigerant over charge or air inside the air conditioning system, check the compressor mounting bolts and refrigerant line contact points. Even due to failed suction or discharge compressor valve due to air conditioning system contamination can create the noise. However, I would suggest that you take your vehicle and get it thoroughly checked by a certified mechanic to solve the problem.

            A:

Hi Barb! When replacing the AC compressor you will need R134a refrigerant and basic tools. For help with your project, I recommend purchasing a Haynes or Chilton repair manual specifically for your vehicle. This should be able to assist you further into detail on how to repair or replace specific parts.
