  • Q:

Some new A/C compressors come with the refrigerant oil already in the compressor. Does this one?
Asked on 8/2/2015 by 71 Stang

    1 answer

Yes, 71 Stang, this compressor will come with pre-oiled. However, drain any oil shipped in compressor used for lubrication during shipping only, and add the proper amount of PAG oil. Oil must be added through the fill bolt of the compressor, when applicable. After everything has been installed, use your hand or a spanner wrench to rotate the clutch 10 to 15 times before you turn the system on. This will clear the system of lubricants.

  • Q:

Product states lifetime warranty with related parts purchase? What are the related parts needed to be purchased for the lifetime warranty?
    Asked on 12/28/2014 by brian

    1 answer

Hi Brian, glad to help you! Certain parts must meet specific installation requirements. Failure to provide proof that these requirements have been met will void your warranty. Flushing is required. Must also install a new receiver dryer/accumulator, orifice tube or expansion valve (as applicable). For more information please visit this link. URL -
