Comments about Strong Arm Lift Support:

This hatch strut was very easy to install. It came with instructions to remove the stock ones, install the new ones, and the hardware needed, aside from the two bolts, which should not need to be replaced anyway.

Before installing this strut (and the left one), the hatch wouldn't stay up at all, even when it was 100+ degrees outside, so I had to keep a board in the back to hold it open. After replacing only this strut, the hatch stayed up on its own, so clearly they are stronger than they need to be, which is good.

The only complaint I have, which is very minor, is that they changed the ball joint stud (where the strut attaches to the hatch) from 12mm (stock) to 11mm, and my tool set didn't have an 11mm wrench OR deep socket, except in 1/4" drive.
