Wouldn't think of storing my cars without it!
When I put my classics in storage for winter (6 months here in the Northeast) I would not think of storing them without a healthy dose of Sta-Bil Storage! I have never had any problems with stale gas and they fire right up in the Spring. Fill the tank to the top. add Sta-Bil and run for a few minutes to protect the fuel in the lines as well.

Would not recommend!
I use to be a believer in Sta-Bil. But after 2 seasons of having issues with my generator and mowers not wanting to run right I found something that works. I have had to replace every carburetor on all of my equipment. 2 of them just a couple of years old. I only use gas from stations that are "Top Tier rated, so gas is not the problem.
The problem is after a few runs with Sta-Bil in the gas cans, the bowls and jets are cover with varnish. My generator gets ran each month for about 15 minutes with about a half of gallon of gas til it runs dry. The 5 month it would not run. I pulled the carburetor and had to clean it out. This is what I thought was supposed to be prevented. After talking to 2 mower shops about my issue and as soon as I mentioned using Sta-Bil in the gas they both said there's your problem. And both recommend the same alternative product.
I have not had an issue since with my equipment not starting or running. Not sure why this happens, but I cannot recommend this product. This is solely my opinion which we are all entitled too. Others may have better luck. But for me and again this is my opinion, I'm done with Sta-Bil. It's a shame since I have had so much better luck out of other Golden Eagle Company product's.

This stuff works well if you store your equipment with engines over the winter with gas in the tank or if you have collector cars that are not driven frequently. Especially important with ethanol now in our gasoline.

This is wonderful stuff. I use it in ALL the gas I put into lawn mowers and other small engines, and they almost always start on the first pull, even after sitting for a while. Sta-Bil is a MUST HAVE fuel additive given the ethanol content of gasoline sold today (ethanol attracts water, which can obviously rust and corrode fuel system components, to say nothing of the fact that water in gas doesn't burn very well!). Great for car engines, too.
