I will not pay less for protection when it comes to lubricants.You spend 600.00 for a set of 4:88 gears from Eaton,why spend [$] for protection. To me its a no brainer.

Not ideal for my G35
Product is probably excellent, but it didn't work for my 2005 Infiniti G35. Royal Purple tech support said it was fine for both my GL-4 grade manual transmission and my GL-5 differential. When the weather turned cold in TN, the differential started to whine (sounded like a window leaking air), Switched the diff back to conventional Valvoline 80W-90 GL-5 and the whine stopped. Transmission works ok with the Royal Purple but does not shift as easily. I was expecting easier cold shifting due to the lower winter viscosity. I have no plans to change the transmission. Bottom line is the product was not ideal for my G35.

Worth the money
I put this into my freshly rebuild 8.5 Gm rear end. We installed new Gm gears and a eaton posi. The manufacturer states only use dino juice and Gm additive. Right on the Royal Purple bottle states this is all you need. Before with the dino juice my posi chattered around corners. Now with the royal purple it doesn't chatter.
