Comments about Rancho Dual Steering Damper Kit:
I should have installed this kit years ago! Removing stock parts is not easy, but that is no fault of the Rancho kit. Since day one with my '05 Dodge Ram 2500, I've had to constantly steer and counter-steer to compensate for the front end following even the smallest deviations in the road surface. Since installation of the Rancho dual steering stabilizer kit, my truck now steers like the wife's car and I could not be happier about that! The kit is definitely worth the the effort to install for the improvement in handling.

Q:Hello. I have a 2006 ram 1500 slt single cab. It has the hydrolic style steering rather than a bar. How would this product work with that? Has no bar to attach to.
A:Happy to help, Tyler55! For 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 4WD, you'll need the Rancho RS7000MT Monotube Steering Damper - Part No. RS7412, which has the integral hydraulic lockout cushions piston that impact when vehicle suspension is fully extended. For more information, please contact Rancho directly at 1.734.384.7804 and they'd in a better position to assist you further.
Q:Will this product work on a IFS with rack and pinion? If not, is there a product that will? My front end is leveled out and I'm running 10 ply oversized tires. I have a ton of steering wobble. Please advise.
A:I will be glad to help you with your question. Rancho parts would be what I would suggest for your application. We would need the vehicle year make and model to find a kit that would an exact fit.
A:Hi Jeremy, I'm glad to assist you! This stabilizer kit fits trucks crew (Mega) cabs only, it'll not fit truck with rack and pinion steering. It reduces steering shimmy, improve tire control, and give you more control over your vehicle if a tire should blow out. Its dual inline stabilizer style for off-roaders with tires 35 inches and taller. For further assistance, I would need the year, make, model and engine size of the vehicle.
