Check Vehicle Fit

PurolatorONE Cabin Air Filters prevent airborne contaminants like allergens, pollen, dust mites, dirt and soot from entering the passenger compartment of your vehicle. The cabin air filter also aids in defroster performance and helps to improve overall driving comfort by encouraging better airflow through the vehicle. Replacing a cabin air filter every 12 months or 12,000 miles improves air quality in the vehicles cabin and helps to protect the A/C system. PurolatorONE Cabin Air Filters are available in particulate and carbon configurations, covering most vehicles on the road today. Refer to owners manual for recommended maintenance schedules.

This filter does not have an arrow or direction to show the correct side to place the filter in the holder. You should note the correct placement of the old filter when you take it out. Other than that, the filter is sturdy and fits perfectly on my 2004 Toyota Solara V6. It is also super easy to replace. After watching someone demonstrated it on youtube, it took less than 5 minutes to replace the filter. I am surprised how dirty my filter was. I will definitely change them more often now that I can easily do it myself for fraction of the cost at the dealer.

The sides of the filter are not reinforced so it doesn't hold open and will let air bypass the filter. The last couple I had bought were Fram and were designed to fit much better.
This was the only one in stock locally and I was prepping for a trip, didn't have time to wait on shipping a different model. Will likely soon replace again with better made unit.

Comments about Purolator Cabin Air Filter:

I was told that air filters should be checked probably once a year and replaced around the same time. This one is probably the best, cheaper option and it can be done by anyone in under 5 mins.

Behind the glove compartment. The owners manual explains how to remove it. It's easy.
