Check Vehicle Fit

PurolatorONE Cabin Air Filters prevent airborne contaminants like allergens, pollen, dust mites, dirt and soot from entering the passenger compartment of your vehicle. The cabin air filter also aids in defroster performance and helps to improve overall driving comfort by encouraging better airflow through the vehicle. Replacing a cabin air filter every 12 months or 12,000 miles improves air quality in the vehicles cabin and helps to protect the A/C system. PurolatorONE Cabin Air Filters are available in particulate and carbon configurations, covering most vehicles on the road today. Refer to owners manual for recommended maintenance schedules.

You know the drill...take your car in for a normal service at the dealer since you have a coupon and then the service rep comes back and scares the heck out of you that the cabin filters are literally going cause your daughter to break down...at night....in a bad area....alone. So, you check the price and find out they will gladly replace the filters they just removed ( in a few minutes) for like triple what of will coast you to do yourself. Just say no thanks and drop by your local Advance Auto and pick them up. These were for a 2005 honda civic and a crazy simple to remove and replace. I have gotten into the habit of writing the mileage and date on the filters so that way they know better than bringing them to me next time I visit the dealer. So far so good and my daughter swears her air conditioning is running a lot stronger!.....

Comments about Purolator Cabin Air Filter:

Perfect direct replacement for my 2007 Honda Element. A five minute job. It's so easy, there should be no excuse for not doing it. Plenty of videos on YouTube if you need a visual.

Pros

  • Easy to install.

Cons

  • Not quite as many pleats as original.

Best Uses

  • Cleaner air

Comments about Purolator Cabin Air Filter:

Instructions were good; also found a useful video online. The previous owner of the car left the originals in place too long. I will keep this on schedule going forward. Good product overall, at substantial savings when compared with OEM.

Comments about Purolator Cabin Air Filter:

This filters the air coming into the car via the a/c system. It helps my wife with her allergies. It also helps keep dust down in the car and on the dash.

This depends on the vehicle requirements. If the vehicle requires two and the vehicle information is entered in the website two will be in the package. If the vehicle only requires one then one will be in the package.
